Two Ways to Enjoy Our Live Organic Food Products at Home

Sweet & Spicy Black Bean Salad Wraps

Spicy is my second favourite flavour (sweet will always be number one) so I blended the two together and voila, you have my Sweet & Spicy Black Bean Salad Wraps!

Black beans offer plenty of plant based protein paired with fibre. One cup of beans offers nearly 15 grams of plant based protein and almost 17 grams of dietary fibre. Talk about a powerhouse meal! I love whipping up this salad when I’m in a pinch and need a protein dense meal packed with flavour. The combination of beans, organic corn, tomatoes, peppers and green onions make it rich in Vitamin C and lycopene, an antioxidant found within plants that helps to protect our skin from the sun. In other words, we’re protecting our skin from the inside out!

Pair it with one of Live’s wraps (I love pairing the salad with their Chipotle Wrap!) and you have a nutrient dense and protein packed meal!


• 1 can BPA Free Black Beans, drained and rinsed
• 1 large yellow pepper, chopped
• 1 large tomato, chopped
• 2 green onion sprigs, chopped
• 2 tbsp extra virigin olive oil
• 1 tbsp True Bee Honey
• 2 drops doTERRA Cilantro Essential Oil
• 3 drops doTERRA Lime Essential Oil
• 1/2 tsp chili powder
• 1/2 tsp pink himalayan sea salt


1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the beans, pepper, tomato and onions.
2. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, honey, essential oils, chili powder and salt.
3. Pour the dressing over the salad and mix. Dish it up on your favourite Live wrap.

Fully Loaded Cilantro & Lime Guacamole

Who doesn’t love a freshly made bowl of guacamole?! Besides my friend who is deathly allergic to avocados, I haven’t heard of anyone not loving a delicious bowl of freshly whipped guac to tuck their crackers, nachos or in this case “Cheesy Flavoured Crackers” into.

Avocados deserve an award for the abundance of nutrition they pack in just one small piece of fruit. One medium avocado offers 13 grams of dietary fiber – that’s over half of your daily recommended intake with less than 2 grams of sugar. This is where you start doing a happy clap because you are so excited about the abundance of healthy fats, vitamins and minerals they pack in each mouthful!

Pair it with my favourite Cheesy Flavoured Crackers and you’ve practially met your fibre goal for the day! I love dipping Live’s Cheesy Flavoured Crackers in everything from guacamole, to hummus and edamame spreads. Made from whole, real foods, these crackers are made from a base of red peppers, flaxseeds almond flour and onions and seasoned beautifully with some paprika and chipotle powder for a bit of heat.

• 1 Large avocado
• 1 small garlic clove, minced
• 1 drop doTERRA Cilantro Essential Oil
• 3 drops doTERRA Lime Essential Oil
• 1/4 tsp pink himalayan sea salt


1. In a small mixing bowl, mash the avocado until smooth.
2. Add the remaining ingredients and serve with Live crackers (I’m loving both their Cheesy Flavoured Crackers & Garden Vegetable Crackers!) & vegetables.
